The Studio

Your story, translated into space

Erin Williamson Design is an award-winning, full-service residential and boutique commercial interior design firm based in Austin, Texas, with projects across the country. Founded by designer Erin Williamson, the studio brings a photographer's eye and a sculptor's sense of form to every room it touches.

Erin holds a graduate degree in photography and sculpture, and that visual grounding shapes a simple belief: every home and office should be a material reflection of the people who live and work in it. We listen closely, then translate your individual narrative into a space that is as functional as it is handsome — all with a sense of humor and a healthy dose of curiosity. Design, after all, should be fun.

How We Work

From your narrative to a finished room

A collaborative, story-first process — as much about understanding you as it is about the design itself.

  1. 01

    Listen

We start with a consultation to understand your story, your habits and how you truly want to live or work.

  2. 02

    Plan

Precise floorplans and concept boards turn ideas into a clear, confident direction for your space.

  3. 03

    Source

We curate furnishings, vintage finds, art and materials with a photographer's eye for composition and color.

  4. 04

    Install

Styling and white-glove install bring it all together into a space as functional as it is handsome.

FAQ

Answers to common questions

We're an award-winning, full-service residential and boutique commercial interior design firm based in Austin, TX, with projects across the country. We handle everything from floorplans and concept boards to sourcing, styling and install.

Austin is home, but our projects reach across the country — from historic homes in California to lake houses and offices. If you love what we do, let's talk about your location.

Everything from a single room to a full-home renovation or a boutique commercial build-out. Whatever the scope, the work is tailored entirely to how you live or run your business.

We don't impose a single 'look.' Every home and office earns its own distinct point of view, drawn from the story of the people who use it — often layered, colorful and collected, always personal.

It starts with listening. From there we develop precise floorplans, concept boards and schedules so you feel confident and clear, then we source, style and install — all with a sense of humor along the way.

Reach out through our contact page or email erin@erinwilliamsondesign.com with a little about your space and timeline. We'll follow up about design rates and availability. Design should be fun — let's make something together.
